UGH. That was a long week. The weekend is finally upon and there’s a bunch of stuff on in our capital city this weekend to keep you busy.

To start you off, the annual Dublin Pride run takes NEXT FRIDAY.I know that’s not exactly this weekend but I thought a quick reminder might be a good idea. It’s a great way to both get your daily dose of exercise and raise money for a great cause. The Pride Run has raised over 60k so far and Belongto, ShoutOut and HIV Ireland are the chosen charities this year.

Tickets for Bon Jovi are still available tomorrow if you’re into classical rock music. I’m sure your Dad has told you all about them and maybe it could be a very late Fathers Day present. It’s definitely an improvement on their pair of socks you were planning anyway.

If you can’t get tickets to that the ‘Sunset Riders’ are rocking out to Bon Jovi and other bands this evening in Stephens Green with tickets between €9.75-€12.50.

There’s a Pride Month Social Hike Tomorrow morning from 10.45 starting at Howth Railway Station. You could go for a few cheeky scoops after on the Howth coast 🙂

Elsewhere the Red Hot Copy Peppers are playing in Workman’s Club from 9 o’clock. Tickets are just 10 quid and they’ll be playing songs from The Red Hot Chilli Peppers epic album ‘Californication’.

If that doesn’t tickle your fancy than Sam Wickens is playing in Whelans tomorrow night with tickets €11.80 available from WAV tickets.

It really is a weekend for the old souls as Dirty Dancing is being screened in ‘The Sugar Club’ tomorrow evening from 8. Admission is €21 and includes Gourmet Popcorn and a glass of prosecco.

So it’s a great weekend if you’re a fan of 80s music and film. If not, well then, there’s always the pub.
