We started off with a bang with Two winners and Three placed horses on Day One. Today’s feature race is the Yorkshire Oaks at 3.35 and it’s all about the queen of racing, Enable. Let’s take a look at the action on Day Two.

1.55pm Sky Bet Lowther Stakes

Liberty Beach has won four of her five starts and looks a leading player on her first start at 6f. Wejdan and Under The Stars are both unbeaten and could also run big races along with Irish raider, Celtic Beauty at a each way price.
2.25pm Goffs UK Premier Yearling Stakes

Mums Tipple ran a cracker at Ascot in July and should be open to further improvement in this valuable juvenile race. Piece of Paradise and Fleeting Prince are the main dangers.

3pm Clipper Logistics Handicap

A massive field take the post for this one so it’s pretty tricky to pick a standout. I’ll take a chance on Club Wexford at a big price for Roger Fell’s yard. He’s been in great form this season and could outrun his odds along with fellow long shot, Blackheath who recently snatched his first win this year at Leicester.

3.35pm Darley Yorkshire Oaks

If you’ve never watched a horse race in your life, there’s a good chance you might of heard of superstar mare, Enable. She’s unbeaten in 11 races, 9 of them have been at Group 1 level. Her gutsy performance to beat Crystal Ocean in the King George last month blew me away and I can’t see anyone in this field good enough to beat her. The horse most likely to follow her home is Aidan O’Brien’s classy filly, Magical. She finished behind Enable in the Eclipse and looks likely to be the main danger in Enable’s quest to win 12 in a row.

4.15pm British EBF & Sir Henry Cecil Galtres Stakes

Search For A Song drops down in grade after his impressive fourth place finish in the Irish Oaks last month and should be a leading player to take this. Bella Vita, Frosty and Vivionn can also make there presence felt.

4.50pm British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Handicap

Mubtasimah has won all 3 of her starts this year and goes into this race as the worthy favourite and could be a hard nut to crack. However, Kylie Rules has also been in terrific form this season and could be worth backing each way at a big price.
