Disney has released a new trailer for the live-action Aladdin remake.
The trailer premiered during last night’s Grammy Awards and shows Will Smith as the blue Genie for the first time. We also see Jafar, Princess Jasmine, Aladdin and of course the city of Agrabah.
When speaking about the movie Smith said he wanted to bring a “hip hop flavour” to the Genie, he may be no Robin Williams but he’s the next best thing.
Directed by Guy Ritchie, Aladdin will be released in cinemas on May 24th.
