On Monday the 14th of July, Sombr announced a new European visit as part of his tour The Late Nights and Young Romances. The Dublin show had four presales during the week with fans’ last chance to secure tickets being the general sale on Friday morning. Spoiler: the show sold out in minutes.
The announcement of the tour comes only two months after Sombr was last in Dublin. Sombr opened for Nessa Barrett for two nights in the 3Olympia Theatre and began his own tour in the Academy. The Academy has a capacity of 850 people and the 3Olympia can hold 1240. To sell out an arena with a capacity of 13,000 2 months later is a clear sign of Sombr’s growing success.
Interestingly Sombr’s tour announcement comes before the announcement of a new album. Fans are anxiously waiting to see if a new album will be dropped ahead of their show. Sombr continues to tease new music on his social media and has recently been filming a new music video, but whether he will continue to focus on releasing singles or surprise fans with a whole new album is yet to become more clear.
If you are still on the hunt for Sombr tickets I suggest checking the Ticketmaster resale section. Comments on TikTok are usually scams and can’t be trusted.
