Attention all students! Applications for the ‘Short Animation of the Year’ award at The National Student Media Awards are now open.
This award will be given to the best animation created by a student in Ireland since February 2020. Finalists will be shown on the night and hosted on the Oxygen.ie website.
This is a category that we’ve seen grow significantly in popularity over the last few years as more and more colleges offer courses in animation and provide more resources for animators.
Previous winners of this award have gone on to work for Boulder Media, Cartoon Saloon, Pewter Games and Studio Meala.
