What is an ISIC card?

The International Student Identity Card (ISIC) is the only internationally recognised proof of full-time student status issued in close to 130 countries.

The card allows verifies your student status worldwide, and allows you over 150,000 discounts and benefits. The card is recognised worldwide and is endorsed by organisations such as UNESCO and the European Council on Culture.

The ISIC is available to full time students at school, college or university, aged 12 years and above. There is no age limit – as long as you’re a student you can apply.

How much does it cost?

It varies! In Ireland ISIC cards are 15 euro, but depending on the country of issue they can be between 4 – 25 USD.

Can I use my card as ID?

You can use your card as a student ID in many places in many countries worldwide. However, it is always best to check ahead in advance and make sure, as local regulations may vary.
