Taispeánann Údarás na Gaeltachta a bhaineann leis an gcatagóir a dtiomantas an chéad ghlúin eile de thallann na meán Gaeilge a chur chun cinn chomh maith lena thaispeáint do mhic léinn atá ag cur isteach ar an ngradam go bhfuil droichead idir a gcraoladh Gaeilge sa choláiste agus sa domhan gairmiúil.
Ar a bharr sin, cuimsíonn tiomantas Údarás na Gaeltachta i ngach gné de theanga, chultúr agus oidhreacht na Gaeilge meáin na Gaeilge a chur chun cinn go daingean agus taispeánann sé go bhfuil siad dírithe ar ghlúin nua de thallann meán na hÉireann a chothú chun cuidiú leis an teanga a fhás níos mó agus chun an cultúr a chinntiú. beogacht gaeltachta timpeall na tíre.

We are delighted to have such a prestigious Irish language organisation sponsoring our Irish language television category. Having Údarás na Gaeltachta associated with the category shows their commitment to promoting the next generation of Irish-speaking media talent as well as showing to students applying for the award that there is a bridge between their Irish language broadcasting in college and the professional world.
On top of that, Údarás na Gaeltachta’s commitment to promoting all aspects of Irish language, culture and heritage firmly encompasses Irish language media and shows that they are focused on fostering a new generation of Irish media talent to help grow the language further and ensure the cultural vitality of gaeltachta around the country.
Awarded to the T.V. production in Irish, documentary or drama, created by a student in Ireland since February 2021. Finalists will be shown on the night and hosted on the Oxygen.ie website. Must be produced expressly as part of a student project or for student broadcast.
