Hannah Bonam-Young was born in Hamilton, Canada, where she grew up with her husband, Ben. She now lives near Niagara Falls with her husband, two children and bulldog. While writing romantic contemporary novels, which feature a diverse set of characters such as disabled people, minorities and those who are part of the LGBT+ community.
She has written six books in total: Out of the Woods, Out on a Limb, Next to You, Next of Kin, and People Watching. Out on a Limb, published in June 2024, entails a one-night stand gone wrong when they find out they’re stuck together for at least the next 18 years.
Next to You, released in April 2024, is about friends who have romantic feelings for each other while they renovate a bus. Next of Kin was distributed in February 2024; it is a romance book based on two people fostering their siblings. Out of the Woods, published in January, involves a married high school sweetheart couple who have been there through the thick and thin of life and who decide to take it upon themselves to reconnect in the woods.
People Watching is a recently published novel where two people find comfort in each other during an adventure.
These award-winning novels are a must-read, as they are very different from each other.
