Dublin Zoo announced the birth of 2 new female Amur tiger cubs this morning. It has been over 20 years since a miracle like this has happened and we couldn’t be happier about the news!

The Amur cubs formerly known as Siberian tigers are an endagered species and sadly there are only a mere 500 living in the wild, Dublin Zoo hopes its new arrivals will become part of an international breeding programme.

The zoo has said the cubs are doing well and will be ready to make their public debut this weekend, to celebrate the new arrivals tiger themed games and activities will be held between 11am and 3pm on Saturday.

In the meantime be sure to submit the name you think the zoo should call them so be sure to submit your name suggestion here!
