Michael Egan III, who earlier this year filed a earth shattering case against Hollywood director Bryan Singer (X-Men,The Usual Suspects, Superman Returns), has dropped the charges following a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. The motion, filed by Singer, dismissed the claims as a “sick, twisted shakedown”.
Egan III also filed three other lawsuits claiming he was sexually abused as a teen by film executive Gary Goddard and TV execs David Neuman and Garth Ancier. The claims were seen to confirm suspicions of a seedy epidemic of child molestation rife in Hollywood, with former child stars like Corey Feldman putting forward damaging testimony.
Singer has yet to respond to the claims himself.
