The comet that the Rosetta mission is exploring has a rock that looks like Nicolas Cage and the internet going wild

The current Rosetta Mission released photographs of the comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko yesterday and the internet nearly shut down with excitement after it was discovered that the distant comet has a rock on it that is shaped like the head of beloved actor Nicolas Cage.

The European Space Agency has failed to comment on the likeness of the actor and the rock. However, a representative of Nicolas Cage jokingly said,

“This is just a testament that the actor’s talents are out of this world [awkward silence from the reporters covering the speech] but i do think this is great for space fans as it will attract a younger audience to the science.”

It is unclear whether the European Space Agency plans to land the Rosetta spacecraft near the area of the sighting next month. The internet can only hope though.
