Sam Allardyce has recently parted ways with the English national side having never lost a match. It’s a record that makes him England’s most successful manager to date.

In his statement Allardyce said, “It’s been a true honour to serve my country, I feel utterly blessed to have spent my time here. I’ve decided to go out undefeated. I feel this is the right decision and has nothing to do with whatever you may have heard, or seen filmed, in the press. I want to take this opportunity to thank the football fans and the players I’ve had the pleasure of working with. As for me, it’s better to burn out than to fade away”

Big Sam’ bows out with a clean sheet, his conscience on the other hand…
