Given to the applicant who has written and published the best article relating to the EU, the successful candidate will receive an incredible cash prize of €1000 AND publication in a regional or on-line newspaper!
The European Commission is the executive branch of the European Union and develops the overall strategy and political direction of the EU. It does this by proposing legislation, implementing decisions and upholding EU law already in effect.
The European Commission’s primary aim is to do all of this for the good of its EU citizens. The EC value journalists that report on related matters and aims to celebrate them through this award.
