What’s on in Dublin this weekend

The sun is shining (sort of) and the weekend is fast approaching. There’s loads on in our beautiful capital to keep you busy over the coming days.

It’s a great weekend for concert lovers with Westlife, Cardi B and the Eagles all playing. Westlife play in Croker tomorrow night while Cardi B is in Marlay park.. The Eagles also play tomorrow night at the 3 arena.

If you’re more of a fan of 80s music then you could make the short trip down to Kildare to the Forever Young Festival. The event takes place on the Palmerstown House estate and there’ll be loads of bars and delicious food stalls as well as fairground rides and a silent disco.

Elsewhere, the Hall and Oates will be playing at the Iveagh Gardens from 5:30 tomorrow evening. Outdoor pints after work sound good to me!

The musically themed weekend continues with Cirque De Soleil in The Grand Social where the ‘very best of House Music will be played.

The quite hilarious comedian and star of Shaun of the Dead Dylan Moran will be in Vicar street tomorrow and Saturday evening with limited tickets remaining.

If you like cocktails and you like Dance music you should pop down to Pgymalion on Saturday night.where DJ Marcel Fengler will be playing. Tickets are just 10 quid and doors open from 10 pm.

Finally, English rapper Little Simz will be playing on Sunday in Marlay Park from 1.30.
