BLOC TG4 is looking for the most creative, innovative, entertaining and newest short video from students for the new Smedias bilingual Short Video category. Videos must be between 1.00 & 5.00 minutes long to be submitted for the competition. The videos submitted on BLOC must be primarily in Irish in order to be suitable for our main platforms – IGTV, Youtube and Tik Tok.
The best video will not only be awarded a cash prize of €500.00 euro but will also have the opportunity to become a content creator for BLOC… or BLOCadóir as it’s called! Find out more information and how to apply here.
Sponsored by Fáilte Ireland, submissions for the Journalism Relating to Travel Category will be taken in the form of written articles, blog posts or videos. Students are required to submit one piece related to travel, preferably focused on travel in Ireland. The pieces must be produced for student journalism or be the work of a full time student.
