Black Friday is fast approaching, and we all do love a good shopping spree. This year, why not support some smaller Irish businesses? I’ve put together a list of some of my favourite Irish shops – whether you’re looking for a new outfit, some gorgeous jewellery or a glamorous new bag, there’s sure to be something here for everyone…

Things Sophie Makes

I’ve been a long time follower of Sophie on Instagram and am obsessed with her incredible crocheting! If you’re on the lookout for a cosy new winter jumper, a crochet bag, a funky bucket hat or a beautiful bandana, then look no further. All of Sophie’s pieces are made with so much care and attention to detail – prices are listed on her Instagram here.

Lil Bits

Lil Bits (AKA Susie) sells gorgeous handmade fleeces in stunning colours. She drops new items every two weeks, and you can even commission a fleece in your own favourite colours and design. Patterns include flowers and cow prints- you can check them out on her instagram here. Make sure you order soon though, as her custom Christmas orders close soon!

Megs Threads

For elegant, customised embroidery, Megs Threads is the place to go! She’s just dropped some festive tote bags on her Etsy – these would make a great addition to a Secret Santa gift or ever a Christmassy treat for yourself. Alternatively, you can pick up a festive face mask, or even a cute Mushroom Embroidery kit and try your hand at some crafting!

Follow Meg’s Instagram here.

Meraki and Sun

Meraki and Sun sell hypoallergenic, waterproof jewellery. They have a selection of stunning pieces, including necklaces, bracelets, rings, candles and even a limited amount of tote bags. Perfect for stocking fillers or a thoughtful gift for a loved one!

Check out their website here or follow their Instagram for information on their pop up stores around Dublin.

Remember to shop local this Black Friday!
