Robbie Keane does the Ivory Coast proud with MLS title

Robbie Keane won his third MLS title over the weekend, his nicely taken goal enough to see off New England Revolution.

Our Keano has enjoyed a comfortable time in the US on his semi-retirement, able to conserve enough energy to still put in a solid goal-scoring shift for Ireland despite his 34 years of age. There’s no doubting his patriotism, that’s for sure.

It’s unfortunate then that he donned a pair of football boots for the match yesterday which had the Ivory Coasts colours all over them.

Bootrs

The Ivory Coast flag does bear a startling resemblance to our own tri-colour, we like to think Robbie didn’t get things drastically mixed up with regards to his own nationality though.

Nevertheless, he scored and now Harry Redknapp might be taking him to QPR in January.

Watch his smart winning finish from yesterday below.
