JJ. Watt didn’t even think about holding out. He just went quietly about his business becoming one of, if not the, most dominant defensive player in the NFL.

This represents a massive coup for the Texans who will now have both Watt and Clowney as mentioned in one of our previous articles for the next 4 years. If Clowney lives up to his potential he could almost surely end up signing a bigger contract than Watt when his rookie deal expires in 5 years time.

Watt signed a 6 year $100 million deal with over $51 million in guarantees which eclipses Mario Williams of the Bills behemoth signing.

Look to the Texans front seven to wreck terror across the NFL for years to come. If only they could sort out that quarterback situation….
