The Science Foundation of Ireland Award For Science Writer Of The Year will be awarded to any student who was written and published an article, in any form of student media, relating to science or technology. We’re looking for work that exhibits a clear understanding of the topic that is being written about and, more importantly, that helps clearly communicate this topic to the average reader. If you’ve written on a
nything science-related, from the minutiae of a minor scientific discovery made at your college to a think-piece pondering the changing role of science in society through the centuries, we want to hear from you!

Your article must have been published since March 2nd 2016.

N.B.: As this category is a late addition to the Smedias, the closing date for entries will be 5pm March 9th 2017.
