Well thankfully we are nearly there. One more day till it’s socially acceptable to stay up till 3am and have chats over cans. There’s plenty to do in Baile Atha Cliath over the coming weekend if you’re planning on heading out.

First of all for all you health nuts out there, Wellfest takes place this saturday and things begin at 9:30am. There’ll be some familiar names there too with Fearne Cotton and Joe Wicks The Body Coach making an appearance. If you’re into your yoga then this will be perfect for you. Tickets are limited so hurry up and book if you want to go!

Elsewhere, the music Festival ‘Eastbound’ is on in Whelans this Saturday and the Dublin band ‘The Murder Capital’ will be playing. The event will take place from the 8 o’clock and tickets are €13. If you love music and drink then pop this in the calendar.

Or if that doesn’t tickle your fancy then you could go to workmans where ‘Boy Azooga’ and ‘Hunkpapa’ will be playing. That too is on saturday and from 8 o’clock.

There’s also something for the foodies with the Vegan Dublin Food Festival happening on several upcoming saturdays including this weekend. Tickets are €69.99 and takes place from 3-6:30.

There’s no shortage of music on Saturday night with ‘Qween- it’s a kinda Queen’ playing at Tramline from 7 o’clock. Tickets are from €14.35 and €16.64.

If you’re not in the mood for music the Red Bull Cliff Diving World series will take place at Dun Laoghaire harbour from 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The best divers from around the world will be going head to head on Carlisle Pier. You can even pop up to the best Wetherspoons in Ireland for a few scoops afterwards.

So there’s just a few events on this weekend for you to enjoy. If you had a wild bank holiday it might be more of a chill out couple of days but make sure to have the craic anyway.
