Forget the Oscars… The student media awards season is where it’s at!
We cannot wait to celebrate the media talent present among Irish students on the 7th of April in the Aviva Stadium. It promises to be a fantastic night, with a host of celebrity presenters and judges making an appearance on the night.
And let’s not forget the very enjoyable Smedias after-party…
MAKE SURE TO ORDER YOUR TICKET TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.
Each nominee will pay €5 for their ticket, and are entitled to one other ticket for €10. Remaining tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis – so make sure to snatch ’em up fast to avoid disappointment!
Please bear in mind that you can not have numerous €5 tickets if you have been nominated for numerous categories.
Make sure to email your ticket requests to admin@generationy.ie, as we need to know how many people are coming to ensure we have enough seating etc. We will get back to you ASAP, but please understand that it is a time consuming process!

If you aren’t from Dublin, DO NOT PANIC – you can send us in a cheque or cash along with an address you would like us to post the tickets to.
For those of you wondering where ya dolla billz are going, the cost of your ticket will cover a small portion of the night’s events, which includes:
- A fabulous awards ceremony at the Aviva
- Quality entertainment
- Snacks (the most important part, obvs)
- A free draaaank
- Buses to the after-party
- Entry into glam Sam’s VIP area
Doors will open at 7pm on the night, and we ask you to please enter through the Shelbourne Road side. After the ceremony, chariots (buses) will await to bring you to Sam’s Bar for what we hope will be a memorable night…
