Smedias – Photography Entry Form

Please email your photos in a compressed folder labelled with your Name, College & Category to photos@oxygen.ie 

The categories for which you can enter through the below form are all listed in the dropdown category menus, they are Photographer of the Year, News Photographer of the Year and Sports Photographer of the Year.

A full explanation of the entry guidelines and requirements for each category can be found on each individual category page, or for a brief rundown on what you need to do for categories in each section can be found here.

Payment: Once you fill out the application form you will be re-directed emailed a link to the PayPal page on Oxygen.ie, where you can go to complete your application by paying the contribution fee for entering.

Should you win a Smedia award your Bio will be used as a press release about yourself to be given to newspapers, so make sure you're happy with it.

Your Bio should include:

•  Where are you from?
•  Are you part of any local teams or clubs?
•  Who inspires you?
•  Are your parents involved in the local community? If so, in what capacity?
•  Fun facts about yourself.
•  Your previous schools.
