A new bar is opening in Dublin this weekend to promote Diageo’s new non-alcoholic beer, Pure Brew.

‘The Bar For When You’re Off The Beers’, located on South Anne Street, is starting off the weekend by hosting free events from the 18th to 20th of January, so what’s lined up for the weekend?

Friday 18th: Comedian Joanne McNally and special guests host ‘The Chats’, an interactive comedy experience discussing topics at random with audience participation encouraged.

Saturday 19th: DJ and comedian Marcus O’Laoire who hosts a night of music, beatboxing and dancing, culminating in a ‘Sober Race’ ‘til late.

Sunday 20th: Finish off the weekend with Fearless Moves, a music-themed free fitness workout session which is led by fitness instructor Nathalie Lennon to the tunes of DJ Conor Behan followed by healthy bites (advance booking required) and Pure Brew.

It even has an alternative Date Night event for couples looking for love, hosted by Dublin drag queen legend Davina Devine, with gifts and spot prizes on the night and the evening coming to an end with a date night disco!

Speaking about the ‘The Bar For When You’re Off The Beers’ Sarah Gilligan, Senior Brand Manager, Pure Brew said, “We wanted to show people who love beer that they have an alternative. You can still head out, enjoy a fun night with friend and also have great tasting non-alcoholic beer.”

The Bar opens from Friday 18th – Sunday 20th January, admission is free but booking is required so get on down before it’s too late!
