Fine Gael and Fianna Faíl had a bad case of the fear at a cabinet meeting last night when talks regarding the roll-out of the Covid-19 vaccine were in full swing.
‘Are we forgetting anything? We’ve talked through who is getting the vaccine first, transport issues, Dublin being the centre of the universe… Anything else’, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar said to the cabinet. ‘Eh no. I don’t think so,’ said Micheál Martin.
Meanwhile, residents of Donegal are pure fuming. ‘When do you reckon we’ll get the vaccine?’, said one resident on Twitter. ‘Probably around the same time we’ll be getting that new train’, replied another suspected resident.
Back at the Dáil, Martin came to a realization. ‘Ah yes! I remember now… Did we ever fix that pot hole in the Phoenix Park?
It has been reported that the Covid-19 vaccine will be distributed in order of highest to lowest priority. The list is as follows: Nurses and residents of care homes and em… who ever can make the trip to local GP after that.
