By Waterford Whispers News The infamous Mossey has pulled off his most daring stunt yet by staging his biggest-ever Waterford exhibition in complete secrecy on the back wall of a well known council estate in the city. In the dark of night, the covert graffiti artist snuck into the densely populated Lisduggan and spray painted the words 'Suck My Dick' on a bare concrete block wall. The art piece, which sits at the lower end of the estate, shadows dozens of less meaningful designs created by amateur youths from the area. Despite Mossey's national notoriety, the exhibition remained a closely-guarded secret with only several Lisduggan residents aware of the 'tagging'. The elusive, iconic artist said he chose the wall to stage it because he wanted to 'tell the world something special about his deep perception of life in 21st century Ireland' In a rare statement to WWN, Mossey said: 'I have wanted to get this off my chest for a long time. The people of Lisduggan need to know what is going on in my mind! - I decided the best way to express my emotions was by writing 'suck my dick' on an un-plastered wall at the back of the estate. The wall is near a well-known shortcut to the shopping centre and I thought it would catch the imaginations of anyone who passed it.' 'I could have written it any where, but I was fairly drunk at the time and I didn't want to go too far down the town as I was fuckin wrecked boi!.' He added: 'I just thought of it on the spot. The idea just popped into my head like God himself was speaking through me.' The exhibition - called 'Suck My Dick Lisduggan' - consists of more than 10 yellow letters and will run for several weeks until the local council decides to eventually plaster or paint over it. One letter is slightly smudged due to a passing Garda car at the time. "I seen the lights flashing by and I had to stop all of a sudden. I think it adds a bit of originality to the whole thing boy! I'm proud of it to be honest." said Mossey. Alongside the image is written: 'Jenny 4 Mark' and 'For a good time call your mother'. The exhibition marks one of the greatest street works in Waterford since the 'Bobby Sands (Let it Rip)' mural on Thomas street which was eventually removed by the rain in 2007. Dozens of Mossey's iconic sketches have also appeared in pubs across the city. His most recent claim to fame has been his facinating 'Insert cock here' print above a knot hole in a wooden toilet door in Geoff's bar. Mossey hoped that his recent venture will draw hundreds of viewers to the site over the next few weeks. Mossey's identity remains unconfirmed, although it is believed he could be 17-year-old former Mount Sion pupil James Morrissey. The exhibition, which opened late last night, is free and will run for quite some time.
