Mark Wahlberg/Max Payne/Nathan Drake. Sigh/grumble/expletive.
Well this is wrong-headed.
Quite literally. It needed to be a different head. Nathan Fillion's, to be precise.
The news comes from Eurogamer, via MTV Multiplayer: Mark Wahlberg was today announced as the lead star in the upcoming Uncharted movie. Mark Wahlberg shall be Nathan Drake (after his stunning success portraying Max Payne in the eponymous film. Sigh.)
David O'Russell, director of Three Kings, is set to helm the film, and Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro are in line to play Drake's uncle and father respectively. Which all sounds like a wonderful cast, but not the cast of an Uncharted movie.
Oh well. Back to watching Castle and Firefly DVDs and wishing film executives had any idea at all about how to make movies of video games.
Jennifer Lawrence has been popping up (and falling down) all over the silver screen. See what gives her that subtle balance between glamour girl and girl next door.
