The National Student Media Awards are back once again to celebrate the best that students have to offer in journalism, photography, film, TV, radio and more.

For the last 21 years, the National Student Media Awards have been known as the ‘Oscars’ of the student throughout Ireland: a highlight of the year for those looking to showcase their work to both their peers and leading figures in the industry.

Applicants will have their work judged by some of the most respected platforms in Irish media, including RTÉ, The Irish Times, The Irish Independent, BAI, and many more.

Applications for this year’s awards will open on Monday 1st February 2021 and will close on Thursday 18th March 2021.

A full list of last year’s categories is available on our website here. This page contains all the categories from last year’s ceremony with more to be announced this year.

Be sure to keep an eye on Oxygen.ie, as well as the official Oxygen Facebook and Twitter for regular updates about this year’s awards.

Now get writing, recording, and filming away so you can you start submitting your work on Monday 1st February. We are dying to see what the best students in Irish media have to offer!
