Contributors Wanted

Here at Oxygen, we're always looking for contributors. Whether it's writing features, reviews or just a bit of humour, we're constantly on the look out for new student writing talent. Not only do we host the Student Media Awards every year, we're committed to publishing the best in college journalism.

So if you've got writing you wish to send in to be published on-line here on Oxygen or satirical pieces you want to see in print in The Spanner magazine - our nationally distributed student humour publication - you're in the right place.

We're looking for material on the important things in life, like boozing and sleeping, as well as writing that sweats the small stuff like politics and sports. To get your stuff published on a national and international medium, contact editor@oxygen.ie

We'll have a read and let you know what we think...

(Reuters) A New Jersey man was jailed for up to three months on Friday for making himself vomit on a fellow spectator at a baseball game.

Matthew Clemmens, 21, was sent to prison for at least 30 days, given two years probation, and ordered to serve 50 hours of community service, and pay $315 in restitution after the incident.

"Clemmens pleaded guilty to making himself throw up on a young girl at a Phillies game," the district attorney's office said in a statement.
