New award for 2009 rewarding the best animation done by a student in Ireland. Finalists will be shown on the night and hosted on the oxygen.ie website, and the winner will be rewarded with a summer internship in one of Ireland's leading animation companies.

Headline award for journalism relating to mental health or suicide prevention
in association with Headline and the HSE's National office for suicide prevention

Headline is Ireland's national media monitoring programme, working to promote responsible and accurate coverage of mental health and suicide related issues within the Irish media.

Awarded to any form of media, be it written, published or broadcasted on television, radio, internet or otherwise, highlighting the issue of mental health or suicide prevention in Ireland. Please note that you need only submit 1 writing sample, given that it is a new category.

Students' work must be submitted on relevant format; CD, DVD (must be saved as MP3) or an original copy of published article. Internet publications or websites, please submit the URL.

 Overpaid sports stars sicken supporter

(Reuters) A New Jersey man was jailed for up to three months on Friday for making himself vomit on a fellow spectator at a baseball game.

Matthew Clemmens, 21, was sent to prison for at least 30 days, given two years probation, and ordered to serve 50 hours of community service, and pay $315 in restitution after the incident.

"Clemmens pleaded guilty to making himself throw up on a young girl at a Phillies game," the district attorney's office said in a statement.
