Everyone’s favourite show which critiques the technology obsessed, fickle and overwhelmingly selfish society is returning to Netflix very soon. Dublin actor Andrew Scott, Avengers star Anthony Mackie and Spiderman villain Topher Grace will be among the cast of the upcoming series. The most surprising inclusion of the cast, however, has got to be Miley Cyrus a.k.a Hannah Montana. The former teen idol has not had a hugely significant acting career has of yet so it will be interesting to see how she copes in what is a very successful and notably a very serious, adult oriented TV show.

Andrew Scott has risen to fame since staring as Sherlock Holmes’ arch villain Moriarty in the hit BBC series. He went on to play Bond villain Max Denbigh and ‘The Priest’ in the critically acclaimed ‘Fleabag’. Let’s hope we see the same level of craziness in ‘Black Mirror’ as we did in his pretty extraordinary portrayal of Moriarty.

It’s difficult to know what to expect other than a whole lot of bat s**t crazy stuff. ‘Black Mirror’ is not known for it’s optimistic representation of life so it’s probably safe to say you’ll be questioning the world as we know it after the first episode. However, that’s not to say that we aren’t looking forward to it immensely and can’t wait to find out what weird technology will soon take over our lives and the world.
