Best Dressed:

What’s better than one style icon sporting a killer outfit? Two style icons, of course! Here we see the stylish Romee Strijd rocking a leopard print fur coat, a basic white tee, elongated ankle boots and blue cigarette jeans. She was spotted in between shows at New York Fashion Week with Taylor Hill, who wore laddered tights, a blavy sweater dress and ankle boots.

Kim K Wears Irish Skirt for V-Day:

Kim Kardashian

Arguably the world’s most famous woman, Kim Kardashian West, wore a black velvet skirt for Valentine’s Day, from Irish branch of the boutique ‘Open for Vintage’. Choosing an all-black ensemble, Kim wore a black bandeau with pointed black boots, sheer black tights, a puffy black jacket and a long velvet skirt with a slit, bought on this very island. The skirt dates back to the 80s and is from the brand Escada, a German luxury brand founded in 1978. Kim’s stylist approached the brand and picked three pieces out from the website- the skirt cost €408 and interestingly, Kim paid for all three pieces herself!

Ditch The Foundation:

Alicia Keys has stopped wearing makeup completely.

Over the last few years, the beauty world has seen makeup go from minimal to layer upon layer- primer, foundation, concealer, cream contour, setting powder, powder contour, blush, highlight, setting spray… and now, in a drastic turn of events, many celebrities and beauty icons are ditching foundation, or even makeup, altogether. For many seasons now, we have seen designers flood their runways with models sporting clean, fresh, glowing faces- clean and radiant skin, freckles- natural or not- and slightly blushed cheeks. Alicia Keys has gone public about her decision to not wear makeup at all anymore, Kim K has been spotted front row at shows with her face bare and Rihanna has stepped out many times in public with no makeup on whatsoever. In short, the natural look is back once again- so ditch the layered concealer and leave your face bare, accentuating only the bold features like brows, lashes and lips, because it’s time to give your skin a break.
