Amy Schumer, Bill Hader, and Judd Aptow will be coming to Dublin this August as part of the Dublin International Film Festival.
The trio will be here to attend a special screening of their new collaboration, Trainwreck. The film was written by Schumer, who also plays the lead role, and stars Hader as her love interest, while Aptow directs.
The film follows Amy, a free-spirited journalist who feels no need or desire to tie herself down to one man. When she meets Aaron Conners, played by Bill Hader, they have a great night together, and part ways in the morning. But things take a turn for the weird when Aaron actually calls her the next day (on purpose!), leaving Amy clueless as to what she should do next….

Amy Schumer is most famous for her hit Comedy Central show, Inside Amy Schumer. The show is a series of sketches intercut with footage of her live stand-up, topped off with a segment entitled Amy Goes Deep, which features Amy interviewing a variety of people, such as professional sex workers or a 106 year old woman.
Bill Hader is most well-known for his ten years on Saturday Night Live, as well as appearing in the hit film Superbad, and is one of only a handful of actors on Earth who can say that they appear in both Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs films.
Judd Aptow has directed a number of hugely popular comedies, such as The 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, and This is 40. He has also worked as a producer on many films, with his portfolio including the likes of Get Him to the Greek, Step Brothers, Bridesmaids, and Pineapple Express.
Trainwreck opens in Ireland on the 28th of August, but tickets for the Dublin International Film Festival’s special screening with Amy Schumer, Bill Hader, and Judd Aptow are available for purchase now, and will get you in 2 weeks before the rest of the country.
